SunSaver panels are the original circular tube panel first manufactured in 1978.  The panel is made of a highly stabilized polyolefin with parallel, circular channel design.  Each tubes is 1/4" wide or 4 tubes per inch across panel.  These tubes are fused together forming a solid panel body.

  • Performance is 1014 BTUs per square foot per day (FSEC).  By far the most common panels used any FAFCO distributor.   In fact, these are the only panels we stock simply because they perform best for the cost throughout our distribution area.  All IGP system pictures in this website are SunSaver panels.
  • 12 year full warranty (parts and labor).

Panel installation instructions:  Every panel mounting situation is dependent on roof type (if installed on a roof), sub-roof or rack design, and length of panels used.  Check our our new step-by-step installations procedure or the factory's somewhat dated SunSaver panel installation manual(pdf) that will give you the basics on installing panels to a typical shake roof, the most common roof on which to install when the manual was first written.  Because some of the information is dated and not as accurate as we would like, based on our 30 years of experience working with these systems, we recommend that you also refer to our panel installation supplement that goes into more detail on certain roof types and other important suggested practices.  For panel installation on either Ground Pro or ProRack, refer to these pages specifically.
